Just-because flowers, to brighten up the weekend, why not? The first bunch from a local flower seller, using my very amateur ‘pick-pick bunch-together’ method. The second lot, handfuls of lovely little weeds. I felt a little sneaky looking around for them to be honest. But they look pretty enchanting all put together, albeit wild, so it was quite worth it! Happy weekend everyone!

Had some friends over for dinner last night and decided that some table decoration wouldn’t hurt. Maybe I was inspired by the sunshine which has decided to grace us lately. So I went off to the garden I went to see what I could find.
I do not have green fingers by any means. It seems every plant I try to grow or nuture wilts, and eventually dies. So I have learnt to be content with whatever I have been blessed with by the garden as it comes.
Quite luckily, I managed to find a few things: just mixed and matched bits of greenery and pretty flowers into little containers. I used a mug, a trinket holder, itty bitty vases; anything that would contain a bit of water and some flowers. I also do not have any floral arranging skills by any means, but all in the name of fun!
So here are the little lovely pots of garden greenery that came along with us for the night. I was lucky enough to find some daffodils and lots of fresh mint, with some sweet purple weeds being my favourite. We made up some fresh mint and lemon tea in a jug and along with all the food, it made for a jolly night. The flowers now happily decorate the house.
